Pioneer Park
Port St. Lucie, FL
If there is one thing Florida is known for besides theme parks, it is the wildlife. Pioneer Park opened summer of 2024 in Port St. Lucie, as a way for families to have fun in the sun, while highlighting some of the area's wildlife. The park features an alligator playground, a water play area, walking paths, and plenty of foliage to engulf guests into the natural Florida landscape.
In the middle image above, one will see a red circle on the site plan. This is where the water play area is located. My team and I helped bring this area to life by working with the other contractors on site to ensure the area was not only safe, but would stand up to the wear and tear of guests, weather, and other elements. I assisted with the painting of rockwork, preparing materials, documenting progress, and during free time, watching out for lizards that tried to crawl through wet paint.
